Characteristics

Heatshield Paint is made by 100% Acrylic and Heat Resistance Technology based on the combination of Insulating Microsphere Ceramic and mineral powder that can reflect high sun light and decreasing the temperature 5 to 10 Celsius degrees inside the house, besides that It can prevents water penetration from outside and protect the surface.

It is ideal for the surface needed to prevent the heat such as: tole roof, tile roof, balcony, exterior wall of factory, warehouse, shop, school....

Construction Guide

Tools: Brush, Roller.

 

Dilution: 10 - 15% with water for the first coat. In case for the thickness paint or dry surface which is quickly absorbed the next coat can be diluted more 5%
Surface preparation: For the wall, tile roof: The substrate must be sound, clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease, laitance etc. All traces of form release agents/curing agents must be removed. Any resulting dust/loose particles must be removed. Ensure the substrate is dry, humidity should be < 16% or 21 -28 days for new wall substrate. 

 

Recoat: 2-3 hours.

 

Coats: 2 coats (or 3 coats if necessary).

 

Precaution: First coat should be thin to prevent rift and peeling, do not apply when the substrate or the atmosphere is under 10 C, rain or extremely hot. Stir well before using

 

Recommended paint system

For wall: Apply the first exterior sealer coat.

Apply 2 - 3  HEATSHIELD paint coats after that (depend on the thickness and heat resistance level desired).

 

For tole roof, tile roof: Applying 2 - 3 lớp HEATSHIELD coat (depend on the thickness and heat resistance level desired)

Safety and environment

Keep out of reach of children. Remember to wear gloves, mask and glasses when working. If paint falls in your eyes, please wash by much water and come to nearest clinic. If you swallowpaint accidently, please come to see doctor immediately and bring along paint packaging. Working place must be dry. Please don’t recycle paint pails to keep food and drink. Please don’t release paint to environment, don’t pour paint into drain. When paint spilt, please collect it with sand. Carry with care.
